Additional information

Acute toxicity testing has been conducted covering all three trophic levels (algae, aquatic invertebrate and fish). Each of the L(E)C 50 values for fish, algae and aquatic invertebrates was determined to be above 100 mg/L (nominal concentration).

Considering microorganisms, no respiration inhibition of activated sludge could be determined up to the highest concentration of 1000 mg/L (nominal).

No data on the long-term toxicity of the substance on fish and aquatic invertebrates are available. The hazard assessment of the test substance reveals neither a need to classify the substance as dangerous for the environment nor is it a PBT or vPvB substance. Therefore, long-term toxicity testing with fish and aquatic invertebrates is not necessary.
