Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

The examination of the PNECs must be carried out with caution, since all PNEC values are above the limit of water solubility.

Basically zeolites are listed as inert ingredients of minimal risk by US-EPA and may subsequently be used as additives to plant protection products for terrestrial environment without limit, and hence are considered as ingredients without significant adverse impact to environment.

Conclusion on classification

Based on the available data, Zeolite, cuboidal, crystalline, synthetic, non fibrous, thermally produced does not need to be classified according to 67/548/EEC (self classification) and CLP (self classification).
