Results of an OECD 301 D ready biodegradation test indicate that terpinolene multiconstituent is readily biodegradable: 72% biodegradation after 28 days.

According to REACH, it is not necessary to conduct the following tests as terpinolene multiconstituent was demonstrated to be ready biodegradable:

- Hydrolysis test

- Biodegradation in water and sediment: simulation test

- Biodegradation in soil

The adsorption coefficient and the bioconcentration factor (BCF) were estimated from the extrapolated values obtained with QSAR models for the main constituents and impurities of the substance:

- log Koc = 3.07 and Koc = 1175 L/kg

- BCF = 308 L/kg

These results are used as input parameters for environmental risk assessment.
