Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The vapour pressure was determined with a modified static method. Measurements were performed at five temperatures between 53.3 and 154.1°C and the vapour pressures were extrapolated at lower temperatures (20°C, 30°C and 50°C).
The vapour pressure of terpinolene multiconstituent is 4.3 hPa at 20°C, 7.5 hPa at 30°C and 20.4 hPa at 50°C.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Vapour pressure:
4.3 hPa
at the temperature of:
20 °C

Additional information

Key study conducted according to OECD Guideline No. 104 and EU Method A.4 but not under GLP and with a modified static method.

No observations were made which might cause doubts concerning the validity of the study outcome. However, the study was considered as reliable with restrictions because the vapour pressure was measured in the range 53.3°C to 154.1°C instead of 0°C to 50°C as recommended in OECD Guideline No. 104.

The extrapolated vapour pressures at 20°C and 30°C are used as key values for chemical safety assessment.
