Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

No long-term adverse effect on the mineralization of nitrogen for concentrations as high as 3.7 g/kg dry soil was observed at day 28 in the study performed according to the OECD 216 testing guideline.
No long-term adverse effect on the mineralization of carbon for every test item treatment was observed in the study performed according to the OECD 217 testing guideline.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

In the study performed according to OECD 216 testing guideline, no significant difference with the controls was observed on day 28 of the incubation period. The difference with the controls was less than 10% of mean control value in every case.

In the study performed according to OECD 217 testing guideline, the induced respiration was significantly increased for every test item treatment soon after the treatment application and onwards. As a consequence the calculation of any adverse effect based on the inhibition of the induced respiration was not feasible.

Therefore, the test item did not induce long-term adverse effects on the mineralization process of nitrogen and carbon in soil.
