Description of key information
Additional information
The substance is a dark brown liquid containing a crystalline solid phase (around 1/5 of sample volume). It has a melting range between -60.1°C and 80.7°C, and a boiling point of 109.72ºC at 101.3 kPa. The density at 20 ºC is 1.2285 g/cm3.
The vapour pressure of the substance is 4454 Pa at 25°C (extrapolated). The octanol/water partition coefficient (log Kow) is span from -0.26 to 2.22. The mean value of the water solubility of the test item is 435 g/L at 24.4°C. As the substance is a complex UVCB mixture made of organic and mineral substances in solution in water, no viscosity was measured.
In accordance with column 2 of REACH Annex VII, data on the particle size are not needed as the substance is a liquid. Based on its structure, the substance is not expected to be surface active.
No flash point was observed up to 120°C. The substance is non-flammable in air, does not have pyrophoric properties and does not react with water. Based on this, the substance does not need to be classified as flammable according to EU Directive 67/584/EEC and EU Classification, Labelling and Packaging of Substances and Mixtures (CLP) Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008. The substance does not contain chemical groups associated with explosive or oxidising properties, therefore classification for these hazards is not warranted according to EU Directive 67/584/EEC and EU Classification, Labelling and Packaging of Substances and Mixtures (CLP) Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008.Information on Registered Substances comes from registration dossiers which have been assigned a registration number. The assignment of a registration number does however not guarantee that the information in the dossier is correct or that the dossier is compliant with Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 (the REACH Regulation).
