Description of key information

No chronic toxicity on Daphnia magna was observed up to 32 mg/L the highest tested concentration.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

Chronic toxicity through effects on reproduction of Daphnia magna was assessed by an OECD 211 guideline compliant study.

The lack of significant adult immobilisation and lack of a reduction in offspring production, indicated that the test item had no effect onD. magnasurvival and reproduction at a concentration of 32 mg/L, over a 21 day exposure period, under test conditions. The EC50 of the test item for reproduction was therefore concluded to be >32 mg/L; the NOEC was determined as 32 mg/L.
