Description of key information

Exposure of fathead minnows, Pimephales promelas, according to OECD 203 guidelines resulted in 24, 48, 72, and 96 hour LC50 values greater than 1.59 mg a.i./L, the highest tested concentration and the apparent water solubility limit under test conditions.

Additional information

According to the OECD 203 guideline the test substance LC50 values greater than 1.59 mg a.i./L, the highest tested concentration and the apparent water solubility limit under test conditions. The 96 hour NOEC is 1.59 mg a.i./L 2-phenyl, 3-3-bis (4-hydroxy phenyl) phthalimidine. This concentration allowed 100% survival with no sublethal effects.
