Reference
Endpoint:
boiling point
Type of information:
experimental study
Adequacy of study:
key study
Study period:
2005-04-05 - 2006-12-15
Reliability:
1 (reliable without restriction)
Rationale for reliability incl. deficiencies:
guideline study
Remarks:
non GLP
Qualifier:
according to guideline
Guideline:
EU Method A.2 (Boiling Temperature)
Version / remarks:
EEC Publication No. L383, December 1992
GLP compliance:
no
Type of method:
differential scanning calorimetry
Boiling pt.:
263 °C
Atm. press.:
1 000 hPa

In the second run - after determination of the melting point - from room temperature to 400 °C a multimodal endothermic enthalpy change was detected in the region of 263 to 271 °C due to partial recondensation. The extrapolated onset temperature of the evaporation process was determinded to 263 °C yielding in a mass loss of 97.9 %.

Conclusions:
The boiling point was reported to be 263 °C.
Executive summary:

The boiling point was reported to be 263 °C.
