First-aid measures

General information: In case of persiting adverse effects, consult a physician. Remove contaminated clothing and shoes immediately, and launder thoroughly before reusing.

After inhalation: Remove affected person from the immediate area. Ensure supply of fresh water.

After skin contact: In case of contact with skin wash off immediately with copious amounts of water.

After eye contact: Seperate eyelids, wash the eyes thoroughly with water (15 min.). Seek medical assistance.

After ingestion: Rinse our mouth and give plenty of water to drink. Call a doctor immediately. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.

Fire-fighting measures

Extinguishing media:

Suitable extinguishing media: Product itself is non-combustible; adapt fire extinguishing measures to surrounding areas.

Special hazards arising from the substance:

In the event of fire, the followeing can be released: potassium chloride, potassium oxide, oxygen

Advice for firefighters:

The product is not combustible, however it promotes fire. Use self-contained breathing apparatus. Wear protective clothing.

Advice on safe handling: Provide good ventilation at the work area (local exhaust ventilation, if necessary). Avoid the formation and deposition of dust. Handle with care - avoid bumps, friction and impact. Use explosive-proof apparatus and fittings.

General protective and hygiene measure: Do not eat, drink or smoke during during work time. Keep away from foodstuffs and beverages. Wash hands before breaks and after work. Do not inhale dust. Remove soiled or soaked clothing immediately.

Advide on protection against fire and explosion: Keep away from sources of heat and ignition. Take precautionary measures against static charges.

Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities:

Technical measures and storage conditions: Keep container tightly closed and dry in a cool, well-ventilated place.

Requirements for storage rooms and vessels: Containers which are opened must be carefully closed and kept upright to prevent leakage. Keep only in the original container.

Advice on storage assembly: Do not store together with: Reducing agents,; metal as powder; acids; alcohols. do not store with combustible materials.
