Additional information

Acute toxicity of NOP (CAS 2687 -94 -7) to the earthworm Eisenia fetida was tested in a GLP-guideline study according to OECD 207 (BASF AG, 2003; report no. 01/0525/67/1). A negative impact on worm biomass was detected. No earthworms survived the 14 -d exposure period in the two highest test concentrations (1000 and 500 mg/kg dw). At 250 mg/kg dw, the final mortality was 30%. In the other two concentration levels, the mortality was <= 10%. The test met the validity criteria of OECD 207. After 14 days of exposure, the LC50 was determined to be 248 mg/kg soil dw.
