Description of key information

The vapour pressure of the substance is determined to be 0.08 Pa at 20°C.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Vapour pressure:
0.08 Pa
at the temperature of:
20 °C

Additional information

Two GLP studies were conducted.

BASF GLP study ndetermined the vapour pressure in accordance with the EU Method A.4 (vapour pressure) using the effusion method: by loss of weight or by trapping vaporisate to be 0.08 Pa at 20 °C.

International Specialty Products Inc.determined the vapour pressure in accordance with the EU Method A.4 (vapour pressure) using the isoteniscope (vapour pressure balance) to be approx. 0.071 Pa at approx. 25 °C.

The value from the BASF GLP study was chosen as key value for the vapour pressure.
