Description of key information

The acute toxicity of the substance to Daphnia magna was determined in a guideline study.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Fresh water invertebrates

Fresh water invertebrates
Effect concentration:
48 mg/L

Additional information

The short-term toxicity of the substance to aquatic invertebrates was evaluated by an acute toxicity test on Daphnia magna. The time- weighted mean concentrations were used for all evaluations and results; analytical monitoring demonstrated that the concentrations of the test substance were not satisfactorily maintained within ± 20 per cent of measured initial concentration throughout the test. The 48-h EC50 (based on mobility) was determined to be 48 mg/L.
