Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

There are no data available concerning the parent compound. With the hydrolysis product neodecanoic acid the 48 -LC50 to Daphnia magna was determined to be 47.1 mg/L (EG&G Bionomics, 1977).

The hydrolysis product hydrochloric acid (HCl) showed acutely very toxic effects due to low pH: EC50 (48 h) = 0.492 mg/L (OECD, 2002).
