CAS number: 15546-11-9
The following data was submitted to fulfil the endpoint vapour pressure:Atwal SS, and Tremain SP (2010) CAS No 15546-11-9: Determination of Vapour Pressure and Auto-ignition Temperature (Liquids and Gases). Testing laboratory: Harlan Laboratories Ltd, Shardlow Business Park, Shardlow, Derbyshire, DE72 2GD, UK. Owner company: Baerlocher Italia S.p.A, Via S. Colombano 62/A, 26900 Lodi, ITALY. Report No.: Project No: 3147/0002. Report date: 2010-08-10The vapour pressure of the test item was determined using a method designed to be compatible with Method A4 Vapour Pressure of Commission Regulation (EC) No 440/2008 of 30 May 2008.The vapour pressure of the test item was determined to be 0.50 Pa at 25°C. A slight, but gradual drop in vapour pressure was then observed on repeated temperature cycling of the test item over the range 25 to 35°C, with individual values in the range 0.37 to 0.26 Pa for thirteen runs. Such vapour pressure characteristics are indicative of the gradual reduction of the more volatile fraction of the test item, likely to exist as impurities. To provide representative data for risk assessment on accidental release of the test item, the initial, highest value obtained was taken as the definitive result.
A reliability rating of 1 was assigned to the key study, Atwal SS, and
Tremain SP (2010), according to the criteria of Klimisch, 1997 as the
study was conducted in accordance with recognised guidelines and GLP.
