To assess the potential of the test substance to biodegrade in water, results of a GLP study carried out with non-adapted domestic sludge are available. The test procedures followed OECD guideline 301 B. In this test a degradation rate of 49% after 28 days was reported. As the pass level of 60% of ThCO2 was not reached, but the degradation rate exceeds 20 %, the test substance can be classified as inherently biodegradable.
