Conclusions:
No adverse effects were observed after application of the substance cyclododecanol in rabbits (gavage) in the liver function tests described here.
Executive summary:

2 rabbits were applied 500 mg/kg cyclododecanol in acetone / vegetable  (1:10) oil by gavage. After 1 hour, 24 hours, 

and 7 days, the following  liver function tests were performed: bromothalein test (Hofmann-Oettel), serum glutamate pyruvate transaminase (SGPT) test, succinic dehydrogenase (SDH) test.

No adverse effects were observed.
