Guidance on Safe Use
Administrative data
First-aid measures
Emergency measure-Inhalation: Move affected person to fresh air. Keep person warm and at rest. If not breathing, if
breathing is irregular or if respiratory arrest occurs, provide artificial respiration or
oxygen by trained personnel. Get medical attention if symptoms occur.
Emergency measure-Eyes: Immediately flush eyes with plenty of water, occasionally lifting the upper and lower
eyelids. Check for and remove any contact lenses. Continue to rinse for at least 10
minutes. Get medical attention if irritation occurs.
Emergency measure-Skin: Flush contaminated skin with plenty of water. Remove contaminated clothing and
shoes. Get medical attention if symptoms occur.
Emergency measure-Ingestion: Wash out mouth with water. Keep person warm and at rest. Get medical attention if
symptoms occur.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: dry chemical or CO2.
Accidental release measures
Emissions from accident are minimized by the following procedural:
-Occupational health and safety and fire protection training programs. Training records.
-Reporting system for incidents. Incident reporting procedures.
-Personal regularly trained to evacuate.
-Procedures of evacuation (Emergency Plan).
-Hazards Studies procedures.
-In case of accident: Reporting in a specific software system; information to industrial Hygiene and safety Committee, to directors, to medical staff.
-Hygienic assessment. Traceability of exposure.
The recommended PPE to minimize the emission and exposure in case of accident are:
Respiratory protection. Use dust mask. EN 14387 Type P3
-Hand protection: EN 374
-Body protection: Wear clothes dedicated to handling of chemical products. (ISO 1394-ISO1 12945-1 EN1149-3)
-Eye/face protection. Goggles should be worn, EN 166
Handling and storage
-Keep containers tightly closed and sealed until ready for use.
-Ensure that material transfers are performed under containment or local exhaust.
-Only properly trained and authorized personnel handle the substance
-Do not use empty containers for other products.
-Clean contaminated protective clothing before removal.
-Fill only marked containers.
-Store in original container protected from direct sunlight in a dry, cool and well-ventilated area, away from incompatible materials
and food and drink.
-Use appropiate containment to avoid enviromental contamination.

Exposure controls / personal protection
Since the process is carried out under SCC conditions, the probability os exposure is very low but in case of accident exposure:
Avoid pouring the product into the environment.
If possible, use this material only on closed appliances and equipment. In case of open facilities (sampling points,
filling and unloading, cleaning, etc.) have adequate means of suction and collection. Must be respected emission limit values, and
be taken to minimize emissions should not release intentional.
Risk Management Measures
-Ensure that material transfers are performed under containment or local exhaust.
-The handling of the substance / mixture should be reserved for qualified and trained workers most vividly about possible
risks to humans and the environment.
-Provide exhaust ventilation at points where emissions occur at openings and material transfer.
-Procedural and control technologies are used tha minimize emission and any resulting exposure.
-In the case of cleaning and maintenance works, special procedures such as purging and washing are applied before the system is opened and entered.
-In cases of accident and where waste is generated, procedural an/or control technologies are used to minimized emissions and resulting exposure during purification or cleaning and maintenance procedures.
-Substance-handling procedures are well documented and strictly supervised by the side operator.
-Measures should be established to protect against risks in the event of an accidental spill (LOPC). (LOPC = Loss of primary containment).
INDIVIDUAL PROTECTION MEASURESMENT IN CASE OF ACCIDENT EXPOSURE:
Respiratory protection: Use a type P3 dust mask.
Eye/Face protection: Goggles should be worn. Face shield or other full-face protection should be worn.
Hand protection: Wear suitable gloves. EN 374 chemical protection ABK class 2.
Body protection: wear clothes dedicated to handling of chemical products. Suitable protective footwear.

Stability and reactivity
This product is stable.
Disposal considerations
-Must not be disposed of with household waste.
-Do not get sewer.
-Should be subjected to special treatment according to the official regulations.
-Recovery or recycling, if it is possible.
-Packagings must be emptied optimally, and can be recycled after thorough and proper cleaning.
-Packagings that may not be cleansed are to be disposed of in the same manner as the product.
-Recommended cleansing agents: Water, if necessary with cleansing agents.
-Proper disposal: Empty containers completely.
-Store them in a safe place once empty.
-Waste: The sewer discharge and biological treatment plants must made only by agreement with the company responsible
sewer and with the approval of local authorities.
