FAT 45082/I is a black coloured, odourless solid powder. THe substance did not melt or boil until 350 °C when tested according to OECD Guideline 102 for melting point and OECD Guideline 103 for boiling point determination, respectively. The average density of FAT 45082/I was found to be 1.2786 g/cm³ at 20 °C temperature, with a median particle size of 4.942 μm. The vapour pressure determination of FAT 45082/I is not necessary as the melting point is >300 °C. The partition coefficient n-octanol/water  at 20 °C could not be determined, because both individual solubility in water and n-octanol are below the limit of quantification. The water solubility of the substance at a temperature of 20 °C was determined to be below 1 μg/l (without correction for the purity). The surface tension of FAT 45082/I was determined to be 72.873 mN/m at room temperature. Because the substance is a high melting point solid, the flash point of FAT 45082/I was not determined. FAT 45082/I showed no auto-ignition until 550 °C. The substance is considered not to be highly flammable and does not ignite spontaneously when in contact with water or humid air. FAT 45082/I is considered to not have explosive properties. In accordance with Column 2 of REACH Annex VII, the study to evaluate oxidising properties does not need to be conducted as this substance does not contain structures that may lead to oxidising properties.
