Endpoint:
boiling point
Type of information:
experimental study
Adequacy of study:
supporting study
Study period:
2015
Reliability:
2 (reliable with restrictions)
Rationale for reliability incl. deficiencies:
guideline study with acceptable restrictions
Qualifier:
according to guideline
Guideline:
other: OECD Guideline 113 (Screening Test for Thermal Stability and Stability in Air)
GLP compliance:
no
Type of method:
other: Differential Thermal Analysis (DTA) / Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC)
Remarks on result:
other: No definite boiling point was observed.

No pressure was reported.

Conclusions:
For Rac-Amido-TH-naphthyridin no boiling point was observed. No pressure was reported.
Executive summary:

According to OECD method 113 "Screening Test for Thermal Stability and Stability in Air" Rac-Amido-TH-naphthyridin was weighed in a crucible made of aluminium, cooled down in a DTA/DSC-system to 25 °C and then heated up to 450 °C (heating rate 5 K/min). In comparison with an inert sample (empty crucible) the temperature difference and the heat effect was recorded. Any thermal effect corresponds to a baseline deviation. No boiling point was observed and no pressure reported.
