Description of key information

DEA acetate has been observed to decompose from 150 °C, without boiling.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Boiling point at 101 325 Pa:
150 °C

Additional information

In a reliable OECD Guideline study on DEA acetate, performed to GLP, evaporation and/or decomposition was observed from 150 °C, with no boiling observed at this temperature. The substance is therefore not considered to have a boiling point (Brekelmans, 2010a).
