Description of key information

The substance was found to be not readily biodegradable in a standard screening study performed to OECD TG 301F. Simulation studies in two natural water/sediment systems and in natural soil indicated relatively rapid degradation. The mean half-life in water/sediment whole systems was 5.5 days at 20 °C. The geometric mean of the half-life in natural soils was 8.3 days at 19 °C. This indicates that the substance is likely to dissipate relatively rapidly from natural systems.
