RESULTS

The solubility of technical test substance at 20 °C is > 250 g per kg solution (> 200 g per L solution) in all the solvents tested with the exception of n-heptane where it has a solubility of 249 g per kg (189 g per L solution). With the exception of n-heptane the test substance completely dissolved hence the solubility can be calculated to be > 250 g per kg solution. In the case of n-heptane the weight of test substance in the 500 µL aliquot was determined by gravimetry. Using the density of the solvent and the weight of the 500 µL aliquot it is possible to calculate results in alternative units.

Conclusions:
The substance is highly soluble in commonly used organic solvents.
Executive summary:

The solubility of the test substance has been determined in six organic solvents in a GLP-compliant study in accordance with OECD TG 105 and EU Method A.6. At 20 °C the solubility of the technical test substance was >200 g/L solution in xylene, 1,2-dichloroethane, methanol, acetone, ethyl acetate, and 189 g/L solution in n-heptane.

Description of key information

The solubility of the technical test substance at 20 °C is >200 g /L in all the solvents tested with the exception of n-heptane in which the solubility is 189 g/L.
