Additional information

The test to determine surface tension of MEXORYL SBF was conducted in compliance with the OECD guideline 115 and the EU method A.5. Measurements were performed with aqueous solutions of the test substance at a concentration of 1g/L in demineralized water at 20 °C, using the ring method.

The mean surface tension of the test item was 66.2+/- 2.9 mN/m (corrected value), which was retained as key data for purpose of CSA. The test item was not considered as surface-active in the experimental conditions cited in the study report.

This result was considered as reliable without restrictions because it was in compliance with GLP and international guidelines.
