Description of key information

The Freezing point of 3-phenoxybenzylic alcohol (CAS No.13826-35-2) was determined using salt ice. The time versus temperature curve (cooling curve) was drawn with the help of measurement interface MicroLab FS-524.  
No freezing (formation of crystals) was observed up to -13.1°C. Hence, the freezing point was concluded to be less than -13.1°C at 976.1hPa.

The Freezing point determination of test item3-phenoxybenzylic alcohol(CAS No.13826-35-2) was done using Ice and salt mixture as cooling bath. The determination was done on the basis of cooling curve (time vs temperature) obtained when the test item was placed in the cooling bath. No crystallization was observed up to -13.1°C. Hence, the freezing point was concluded to be less than -13.1°C at 976.1hPa.
