Based on the available data, a conclusion on classification can be drawn for the flammability. As the lower and upper flammability limits are 3.8-4% and 22-29.3%, respectively, the substance has to be classified as extremely flammable (F+, R12 according to EU Directive 67/548/EEC and H220; Cat. 1 according to EU Classification, Labelling and Packaging of Substances and Mixtures (CLP) Regulation (EC) No. 1272/20008). Furthermore, although flash point determination is not required for gases, data is available showing that the substance has a flash point of -78oC (open cup).
