Eight measurements in aluminium
crucibles with a hole showed broad endothermic signals:
The first measurement showed a broad endothermic effect in the
temperature range 60 °C to 280 °C. Additionally there could be an
endothermic effect even before the aforementioned one as a broad
shoulder can be observed from approximately -80 °C to 60 °C.
The second measurement showed two endothermic effects in the
temperature range -10 °C to 110 °C and 120 °C to 230 °C, respectively.
The third measurement showed an endothermic effect in the
temperature range 20 °C to 110 °C.
The fourth measurement showed an endothermic effect in the
temperature range 70 °C to 300 °C.
The fifth measurement showed an endothermic effect in the
temperature range 25 °C to 275 °C.
The sixth measurement showed an endothermic effect in the
temperature range 130 °C to 280 °C.
The seventh measurement showed an endothermic effect in the
temperature range 20 °C to 170 °C. This effect is directly followed by
another small endothermic effect in the temperature range 180 °C to

According to the information from
the sponsor the test item consists of a large number of different
chemical substances. Furthermore due to the different temperature ranges
of the endothermic effects it has to be assumed that the test item is
heterogeneous. Therefore it is not possible to state a boiling
point/range for this test item (due to the nature of the test item and
the limited amount of test item used for the measurements).
The test item shows an
endothermic effect in the temperature range -10 °C to 300 °C. Due to the
test item consisting of a large number of substances and heterogeneous
nature no boiling point/range can be given.
