The evaluation of the data was performed using the software STARe. As result, a thermogram was obtained in which the heat flow of the investigated sample is given as a function of the temperature. By integrating the area under the heat flow signals, the enthalpy of the process was obtained.

Using a linear heating rate of 10 °C/min the boiling range of the test item was determined to be 332 - 378 °C (606 – 651 K) at atmospheric pressure (99.96 kPa).

Conclusions:
Using a linear heating rate of 10 °C/min the boiling point of Sika Hardener MI was determined to be in the range of 332 - 378 °C (606 – 651 K) at atmospheric pressure (99.96 kPa).
Executive summary:

The boiling point of the test item Sika Hardener MI was determined using differential scanning calorimetry according to OECD TG 103, EU Method A.2 and OPPTS 830.7220. A small amount of test item was weighed into a one-way 40 μL aluminum crucible and sealed with pierced aluminum lid using a capsule presser. Thus prepared capsule was inserted into the furnace of the DSC device and heated from room temperature to 500 °C with 10 °C/min heating rate. As reference sample an empty crucible of the same type was used. The boiling point of Sika Hardener MI was determined to be in the range of 332 - 378 °C (606 – 651 K) at atmospheric pressure (99.96 kPa).
