Description of key information
The Koc of N-(1,1,3,3-tetramethylbutyl)acrylamide (t-OAA) was determined in OECD Guideline 121 under GLP using HPLC. Log Koc values were found to be 2.0 and 2.1 for soil and sewage sludge respectively.

The adsorption coefficient (KOC) on soil and on sewage sludge was estimated using high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC)
according to OECD 121 under GLP. Under test conditions the retention time of the substance was found to be 3.784 minutes at pH 6. Based on the calibrations for soil and sewage sludge the following Log KOCand KOCvalues were obtained. For the KOCminimum and maximum values are given under consideration of the standard deviation for the log KOC.
