Description of key information

48 h EC50 >2.9 µg/L, Daphnia magna, measured (Springborn Smithers 2002)

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

A 48-hour EC50 value of >2.9 µg/L has been determined for the effects of the test substance on mobility of Daphnia magna. A NOEC of ≥2.9 µg/L has been determined in the same test (Springborn Smithers 2002). The results of two other tests (one reliable; one for which the reliability cannot be determined) also showed an absence of toxicity following short-term exposure to treatment levels that were above the solubility of the substance.
