Description of key information

In accordance with Reach Annex VII, column 2, biodegradation in water does not need to be conducted as NH4F is an inorganic compound and therefore will not undergo biodegradation.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Biodegradation in water:
readily biodegradable

Additional information

To enable the chemical safety assessment to be performed, the biodegradation in water was estimated using EPI Suite v4.10 (BIOWIN v4.10). The substance was predicted to be readily biodegradable.
