Concentration corresponds to the water solubility result (1.85 g/L) obtained in another experiment. For such well soluble in water substances (exceeding 1 g/L), the concentration of 1 g/L is appropriate.

Discussion:

On removal from the 20 °C equilibration, the samples were visually assessed as clear and colourless liquids free from undissolved test item.

The surface tension at nominally 1 g/L of test item in water has been determined to be 32.6 mN/m at 20.0 ± 0.5 °C. The test item was considered to be surface-active (surface tension < 60 mN/m).
