Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Henry's Law constant for a representative constituent of the readily biodegradable UVCB test item was calculated to be 17.6 Pa.m3/moL indicating that the component is likely to partition to air (HENRYWIN v3.20)

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Henry's law constant (H) (in Pa m³/mol):
17.6
at the temperature of:
25 °C

Additional information

Since the test item is a complex UVCB substance that is known to be readily biodegradable,it was considered appropriate to model transport and distribution using bis(2-ethylhexyl) phosphonate [EC 222-904-6; CAS 3658-48-8] as a representative component. The calculated Henry’s Law constant of 17.6 Pa.m3/moL indicates that the representative component has a tendency to partition to air.
