Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

The density for hydrazine mono-nitrate is reported to be 1.17 g/cm3 when the substance is in a  34 and 36% w/w solution. This value was determined in the laboratories at Lansdowne and it has been confirmed by external laboratories. The other data available are for read-across substances such as hydrazine, hydrazine hydrate and hydrazine sulphate. The data for the chemical itself is considered to be the most relevant and reliable in reporting the density of hydrazine mononitrate. The densities reported for the supporting substances are as follows: hydrazine sulphate,1.378 g/cm3; hydrazine, 1.0036 g/cm3; and hydrazine hydrate 1.03 g/cm3.
