Conclusion on classification

Studies were performed for the determination of the acute toxicity with the following results:

LC50 Fish: 0.0559 mg/L (96 hr) (Danio rerio)

EC50 Invertebrates: 0.0046 mg/L (48 hr) (Daphnia magna)

EC50 Algae: > 5.0 mg/L (72 hr) (Scenedesmus subspicatus)

The lowest value for the acute toxicity is EC50 Invertebrates = 0.0046 mg/L.

Based on the criteria given in Annex I, Part 4 of the CLP Regulation, it can be concluded that d-Phenothrin is classified as:

-  category ACUTE 1, M-factor for acute toxicity = 100.

A study was performed for the determination of biodegradability and the substance was found to be not readily biodegradable.

Consequently, the substance is also classified as

- category CHRONIC 1, M-factor for chronic toxicity = 100
