Justification for classification or non-classification

Skin irritation study results: The presence of focal scab formation in three of six animals suggests that this material has a potential to injure the skin that is difficult to evaluate. It is recommended that
H315: Skin Irritant 2 to be applied to this material.
Maximum duration of any effect:
Erythema: 14 days
Oedema: 14 days

Eye Irritation: Severe occular damage was observed including severe chemosis in all rabbits. Severe corneal opacity in three rabbits was observed with opaque corneas in two of the rabbits. This includes corneal ulceration in one of the rabbits on the final day of observation (day 21). Material is classified as H318: Eye damage 1.
