Description of key information

Adsorption is considered to be low and no study is required.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

Adsorption is considered to be low and no study is required in accordance with Annex VIII, 9.3.1. column 2, based on a low partition coefficient (Log Pow = 0.5 at 25°C) and a rapid elimination in a valid OECD TG 302B study for inherent biodegradation. The result of the adsorption potential of N,N-dimethylbutylamine with the KOCWIN program (v2.00) gave a value of Koc = 13.69 L/kg (log KoC = 1.1363), i.e. the result supports the considered low adsorption potential (GUBDH, 2012).
