- The material was pretested on all subjects in order to determine wheter sodium lauryl sulfate pretreatment was required.
A patch of each material was applied to normal sites on the backs for 48 hours under occlusion.

- The material tested showed no evidence of contact sensitization.
Cornmint oil produced no reaction that were considered allergic in the 22 subjects tested.
