Additional information

Short-term toxicity to fish

The substance was not lethal for fishes Danio Rerio exposed for 96 h to the nominal concentration of 150 mg/L. The LC50 was >150 mg/L. (ECHA disseminated dossier, October 2014)

Short-term toxicity to aquatic invertebrates

The test substance was tested for acute toxicity to fresh water daphnia in a 48-hour static test. Results showed that the 24h-EC50 was 207.2 mg/L and the 48h-EC50 157.8 mg/L. (ECHA disseminated dossier, October 2014)

Toxicity to aquatic algae

In the 72h algae growth test the EC50 (Growth rate) was 58.1 mg/L and the EC50 (Biomass) was 9.4 mg/L. The NOEC was determined to be 9.4 mg/L (Growth rate and Biomass). (ECHA disseminated dossier, October 2014)

Toxicity to microorganisms

The EC50 was 167 mg/L after 16 h, the EC10 was 118 mg/L after 16 h. The substance is therefore considered as practically non toxic to microorganisms. (ECHA disseminated dossier, October 2014)
