Relative density = density (kg/m3) / 999.975 (kg/mm3) (density of water at 4°C).

The average density at 20°C ± 0.5 °C of the test item is 921 kg/m3.

Conclusions:
The density of the test item of (+)-CAMPHOLENIC ALDEHYDE was determined to be 921 kg/m3 at 20.0 +/- 0.1°C (mean of three determinations).
The relative density of the test item was determined to be D 20 4 = 0.921
Executive summary:

The purpose of the study was to determine the relative density of substance (+)-CAMPHOLENIC ALDEHYDE.

The determination of the relative density was performed in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 440/2008, method A.3 ''Relative density'' and OECD Guideline No 109 ''Density of liquids and solids''.The oscillating density meter method was used.

Three measurements were performed at 20°C ± 0.5°C.

The relative density 20°C/4°C of (+)-CAMPHOLENIC ALDEHYDE was determined to be 0.9210.

Description of key information

The relative density of (+)-CAMPHOLENIC ALDEHYDE was determined to be 0.921.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Relative density at 20C:
0.921

Additional information

The relative density of (+)-CAMPHOLENIC ALDEHYDE at 20°C was determined in a study performed according to OECD Guideline 109 and EU method A3 using an oscillating densimeter. The value was considered with a reliability of 2 (reliable with restrictions) because the result is scientifically acceptable but not obtained under GLP and some details were lacking in the report.
