Additional information

The data provided to address the solubility in organic solvents/fat solubility endpoint are taken from the public domain. The published handbook entry was assigned a reliability score of 2, in accordance with the guidance document published by ECHA, May 2008, Guidance on information requirements and chemical safety assessment Chapter R.7a: Endpoint specific guidance and using the principle for assessing data quality as set out by Klimisch (1997), which instruct that data from a peer reviewed database where the information of the peer review process is available, may be considered reliable with restriction.

The origin and quality of the data presented in the supporting information could not be assessed, the data was therefore assigned a reliability score of 4 (not assignable) using the principle for assessing data quality as set out in Klimisch (1997). The solubility of (R)-2,2,3-trimethylcyclopent-3-ene-1-acetaldehyde was reported as being soluble in oils and most organic solvents.
