Peter (2013) performed a combined repeated dose toxicity study with reproduction/developmental toxicity screening test in rats according to OECD guideline 422 (GLP). A Parental NOAEL of 100 mg/kg bw/day was derived.

Justification for classification or non-classification

Based on the available data of the OECD 422 test and the criteria of the DSD and CLP Regulation, the substance should be classified as R48/22 and STOT RE 2 H373, as significant toxic effects were observed at a concentration of 300 mg/kg bw/d (upper limit of the CLP guidance values for STOT RE category 2 - H373 classification, based on data of a 28 days repeated toxicity test via the oral route).
