Formaldehyde, polymer with benzenamine, hydrogenated (CAS RN 135108 -88 -2), is a viscous dark yellow liquid with an ammonia like odour at room temperature. The substance has a melting point of <-25 °C and it decomposes before reaching the boiling point. Decomposition starts at approximately 108 °C at 1013 hPa. Formaldehyde, polymer with benzenamine, hydrogenated has a density of 1.007 g/cm3 at 20 °C and a vapour pressure below 0.055 Pa at 20 °C. The substance has a partition coefficient 1-octanol / water of log Kow 2.68 at 21 °C and a water solubility of 3.0 g/L at 20 °C. The closed cup flash point is >200 °C at 1013.25 hPa and the self-ignition temperature is greater than 384 °C (at 996 hPa).

The substance has no pyrophoric properties and does not liberate flammable gases on contact with water. It is non-explosive and does not possess oxidising properties. Formaldehyde, polymer with benzenamine, hydrogenated has visosity 40722 cP at 35°C and 2051 cP at 55°C.
