- Treatment of test material prior to testing:
Determined by TOC: The samples were filtered through 0.45 µm hydrophilic PTFE filter before analysis.
Determined by GC: 5 mL of sample was accurately taken, 5 mL of dichloromethane was added for extraction. Allow the mixture to stand until there was a sharp demarcation line between the two layers, the lay of dichloromethane was taken and filtered through 0.45 µm hydrophobic PTFE filter before analysis.

Description of key information

The water solubility of Reaction mass of 2-(palmitoylamino)ethyl acrylate and 2-(stearoylamino)ethyl acrylate was determined to be 0.7 mg/l @ 20 °C using a study equivalent to OECD TG 105 (Water solubility) using the shaking flask method by measuring the DOC of the aqueous solution.
