Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Endpoint:
vapour pressure
Type of information:
experimental study
Adequacy of study:
key study
Study period:
2019
Reliability:
2 (reliable with restrictions)
Rationale for reliability incl. deficiencies:
study well documented, meets generally accepted scientific principles, acceptable for assessment
Qualifier:
no guideline followed
Principles of method if other than guideline:
The vapor pressure was measured by freezing the sample in liquid nitrogen and then drawing vacuum on the sample container to degas the sample. This was done four times. The sample was then pumped down and the vapor pressure was allowed to come to equilibrium in a water bath at the indicated temperatures.
Bias and Std. Deviation: A formal error investigation of this analysis has not been performed. Based on previous analyses, the error is estimated to be less than +/- 3%
GLP compliance:
not specified
Type of method:
static method

Conclusions:
PC-206 has a vapor pressure of 4.2 mmHg/560 Pa at 70°F (21.1°C) and 21 mmHg/2800 Pa at 130°F (54.4°C).
Executive summary:

PC-206 Intermediate has a vapor pressure of 9.6 mmHg/1280 Pa at 70°F (21.1°C) and 74.9 mmHg/9986 Pa at 130°F (54.4°C).
