Auto-ignition temperature:
260 °C
Atm. press.:

Three replicate main tests were performed under atmospheric pressure (1015.5 – 1029.7 hPa).

The following lowest values were recorded:

Difference between the lowest values of the main studies was 10 K, thus the validity criterion was fulfilled. The auto-ignition temperature is the lowest value from the lowest values measured during the Main study, rounded down to the nearest multiple of 5 °C. The lowest value of the auto-ignition temperature was 260 °C.

Conclusions:
The auto-ignition temperature of the test item was determined to be 260 °C.
Executive summary:

A study according to Regulation (EC) No. 440/2008 Method A.15 and DIN 51794:2003-05 was conducted to determine the relative auto-ignition temperature of the test item. In a preliminary test the ignition was observed at 282.3 °C. The main test was performed with the fully automated measurement system. The test program was repeated three times using a new, clean test vessel. The ignition temperatures were 265 °C, 270 °C and 260 °C, respectively. The auto-ignition temperature is the lowest value of the three runs rounded to the nearest multiple of 5 °C. The lowest value of the auto-ignition temperature was 260 °C.

Description of key information

The auto-ignition temperature of the test item was determined to be 260 °C.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Autoflammability / Self-ignition temperature at 101 325 Pa:
