Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

The regression of the vapor pressure data leads with a mean deviation of 0.4% to the following equation:

In ( p/hPa) = 18.4310-3566.78 / (213.01 + t/°C)

The normal boiling temperature was determined at 96.9 °C by extrapolation of the data with this equation.

Remarks

The test item showed fluctuating vapor pressure values - appr. ± 0.4 hPa - at any given temperature. However, these fluctuations were negligible in case of the determination of the normal boiling temperature.
