Conclusion on classification

Three acute toxicity studies are available for three different trophic levels, with the following data:

96h-LC50 fish = 17.8 mg/L

48h-EC50 daphnids = 3.8 mg/L

72h-ErC50 algae = 6.9 mg/L

72h-ErC10 algae = 4.0 mg/L

In addition, 1,3 -dibutylthiourea is not readily biodegradable. Therefore, according to the criteria set out under CLP regulation EC 1272/2008, DBTU is considered H411: Toxic to aquatic life with long-lasting effects.
