Justification:

The substance is readily biodegradable, based on read-across to Phosphoric acid, C8 -12 (even-numbered) alkyl esters and to the parent alcohol which is present as a constituent.

The partition coefficient of the test item was calculated from the individual solubilities in n-octanol and water at 20 °C. The Log Kow >3.98. A value of 3.98 is used for hazard assessment.

Based on acute and chronic data, the substance does not meet the Toxic (T) criteria. The substance is not classified as carcinogenic, mutagenic, or as a reproductive toxicant. The substance is not classified as STOT.
