The result of the first determination was discarded; therefore the lowest value of the auto ignition temperature is 520 °C. This value was determined using 2 drops test item. The test item showed auto ignition after 22 seconds. The three lowest values of the main test lay within a range of 20 K (as required for auto ignition temperatures above 300 °C). The largest difference between measured ignition temperatures was 5 K.
